We are searching for a dependable self-starter to be our new Project Manager. The Project Managers responsibilities include coordinating the design, fabrication, integration, and start-up of custom automation systems.  You should be able to maintain relationships with customers, vendors, sales staff, machine and fabrication shop staff, field service engineering staff, as well as the department engineering staff.

To be successful as a Project Manager, you should be curious, well-organized, and have strong design and management skills. Outstanding candidates will be able to anticipate problems and develop appropriate contingency measures.

Project Manager Responsibilities

Analyzing project specifications, developing work schedules, and delegating tasks to different teams.

Supervising the progress of the projects and coordinating the engineering and shop staff time requirements to ensure the timely completion of the projects.

Collaborating with other engineers and technical personnel to develop operation and maintenance manuals.

Ensuring that each project stays within the allocated budget and timeframe.

Conducting research on new developments in the field and networking with other engineers and professionals.

Project Manager  Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Previous project management experience.

Previous machine design experience.

AutoCAD experience.

Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

The ability to motivate staff.

Willing to travel for short periods of time to customer sites both domestic and international.

A positive attitude and willingness to work overtime if required.
