August 15, 2011 - InfoSight will be presenting at OTEC 2011
Mr. Ed O'Neal, InfoSight's Laser Product Manager, will be presenting a paper "Asset Tracking in Harsh Environments" (Abstract: Current requirements to audit signage retro-reflectivity by the DOT will require an identification method that can withstand the rigors of road environments. Whether it is road signs or heavy equipment tracking using barcodes is not only an inventory time saver but eliminates inventory mistakes and mismanagement.) at the upcoming OTEC 2011 which will be held October 25th & 26th, in Columbus OH. Mr. O'Neal's presentation will be on Wednesday, October 26th, from 10:50 am to 11:15 am.

March 11, 2011 - InfoSight to present at AISTech in Indianapolis
Mr. David Anderson, Metals Industry Manager of InfoSight Corporation will be presenting the following paper at the upcoming AISTech Iron & Steel Technology Exposition in Indianapolis in the Rolling Mill Material Handling Session (Rod and Bar Rolling/Material Handling) on Tuesday, May 3rd at 10:00 am in RM WAB3.
“Bar Code Identification of SDI Bars”
The Steel Dynamics Inc. (SDI) plant in Columbia City, Ind., USA, installed an InfoSight multistrand bar code tagging machine in mid-2010. This equipment applies bar code identification onto hot blooms and beam blanks. Four strands are served by the equipment, with a fifth strand planned in the future. The core technologies to laser-print and weld-apply bar code tags are discussed. The 2-D bar code on the tag can be automatically scanned for tracking and data collection purposes. Automatic bar identification benefits are discussed. This technology facilitates automatic marking and identification of hot steel bars in the new SDI mill.

August 2, 2010 - InfoSight presents Poster at the ERPI in Denver CO
Mr. Ed O'Neal, InfoSight's Laser Product Manager, presented a poster on Asset/ID Tracking in Harsh Environments at the ERPI in Denver CO in June 2010. EPRI's International Low-Level Waste (LLW) Conference & Exhibit Show followed the ASME Radwaste workshop. It was specifically aimed at meeting the needs of nuclear utility professionals. The conference focused on all aspects of nuclear plant low and intermediate level radwaste operations, shipment and disposal contributing to improved management, safety, cost reduction and waste minimization. The conference format was intended to present the latest technical developments applicable to attendees' plant radwaste operations.

May 21, 2008 - INFOSIGHT GOES INTO SPACE
InfoSight’s PermaLabel® went into space headed for attachment to the International Space Station for a year long exposure test.
The shuttle Endeavor launched on March 11th with the MISSE 6A and 6B. The experiment was fitted to the space station with a space walk on March 17, 2008. The experiment will test the contents to UV/Space exposure for one year and then retrieved and brought back for evaluation here on earth at the space labs.

December 21, 2004 - InfoSight's PermaLabel® Metal Tags Pass Tests
InfoSight's PermaLabel® metal tag technology has passed a battery of tests by the Oregon State University's Mobil Technology Solutions Laboratory. These tests were designed to determine the tag's resistance to abrasion for military and commercial applications that occur in extreme and diverse weather and climate conditions.
