May 21, 2008 - INFOSIGHT GOES INTO SPACE

InfoSight’s PermaLabel® went into space headed for attachment to the International Space Station for a year long exposure test. The shuttle Endeavor launched on March 11th with the MISSE 6A and 6B. The experiment was fitted to the space station with a space walk on March 17, 2008. The experiment will test the contents to UV/Space exposure for one year and then retrieved and brought back for evaluation here on earth at the space labs.

January 2, 2008 - SOFTWARE UPGRADE AVAILABLE FOR KE28XX MODEL LASER MARKERS

InfoSight's InfoTag® Laser Marker, Model KE28xx can now be upgraded to utilize InfoSight's LabeLase® Producer™ Software. The LabeLase® Producer™ Software is a Window's based software and does require a PC to operate it. Please go to Producer™ Software for further details on the software. Please contact InfoSight for any other additional information that you may require.

 


December 5, 2007 - InfoSight introduces our AlumaTag™!

InfoSight introduces the AlumaTag™ metal tag. AlumaTag™ is a high temperature aluminum barcode tag designed to be affixed to molten aluminum ingots and logs. In many cases it will also survive homogenizing furnaces up to 1100 F, insuring positive product identification throughout processing.

 


November 26, 2007 - InfoSight introduces our new PaintTag™!

InfoSight introduces the PaintTag™ metal tag. PaintTag™ is an ideal low-cost barcode tracking tag for identifying fabricated steel through typical painting operations. PaintTag™ is an easy-to-use and robust method for identification when start-to-finish traceability is a must. Real-time printing of custom information and resistance to acid-pickling, painting and high-temperature paint curing are just a few of the features of the PaintTag™.

 


May 30, 2007 - InfoSight Introduces the LabeLase® 1000P Die-Cut Tag Printer

InfoSight introduces the LabeLase® 1000P die-cut metal tag printing system.  The LabeLase® 1000P prints single die-cut tags placed into pockets on the interchangeable carrier plate.   Like the LabeLase® 1000 Tag Printer – the model 1000P printer is designed to function like the desktop PC printer at your work station, and it will fit into just as small a space. 

 


April 3, 2006 - InfoSight Introduces the ToughTag Metal Tag

InfoSight introduces the ToughTag™ metal tag.   ToughTag™ is an ideal low-cost barcode tracking tag for identifying industrial equipment such as valves and racks located in harsh environments indoors or outdoors.

 


January 14, 2005 - InfoSight Offers UID Metal Tags for DoD Applications

InfoSight offers UID metal tags for Department of Defense applications. Our PERMALABEL® metal tags are ideal for the ruggedness and survivability requirements of the DoD Unique Identification Program. Our metal tag printers can directly produce UID tags at your facility, or we can pre-print them for you.

 


December 21, 2004 - InfoSight's PermaLabel® Metal Tags Pass Tests

InfoSight's PermaLabel® metal tag technology has passed a battery of tests by the Oregon State University's Mobil Technology Solutions Laboratory.   These tests were designed to determine the tag's resistance to abrasion for military and commercial applications that occur in extreme and diverse weather and climate conditions.

March 17, 2004 - InfoSight Introduces Online Discussion Forum

InfoSight introduces a new Online Discussion Forum to allow our customers and potential customers to get support from InfoSight staff as well as from other users.   The forum is open to all (although registration is required to post) and we encourage all of our customers to participate.  InfoSight staff will monitor all of the discussion groups on the forum, and will make every attempt to respond to questions in a timely manner.  However, if you need immediate assistance, please contact the factory directly at 740-642-3600.
