Vector Rectangle Tool

Vector fields are applicable only to certain InfoSight laser printer models. Vectors are burned after all marking is completed and are used to burn through certain types of materials such as flexible polyacrylic labels.

The Vector Rectangle tool is used to add a vector rectangle field to the layout. A layout may have an unlimited number of vector rectangle fields. Once the field is added to the layout, you use the Properties Editor to change the field's properties.

Each vector rectangle field is defined by several pieces of information that you must supply. This information includes:

Height The height defines the vertical dimension of the rectangle in inches or millimeters.

Width The width defines the horizontal dimension of the rectangle.

Clipped Set to true to clip the corners of the rectangle. The size of the clipped corners is defined below in "Clip Size".

Clip Size The size of the clipped corners in inches or millimeters.

Tabbed Set to true to add tabs to the center of each side of the rectangle. The size of the tabs is defined below in "Tab Size".

Tab Size The size of the tabs in inches or millimeters.

X The X coordinate of the lower left corner of the rectangle. This field was initially filled in for you based on where you clicked the mouse.

Y The Y coordinate of the lower left corner of the rectangle. This field was initially filled in for you based on where you clicked the mouse.
