Colored Metal Tags

InfoSight Corporation announces their new INFO-TINT™ colored high temperature metal tags. The INFO-TINT™ tag was developed to display automated barcode and tracking information on tags which can color flag product types and disposition. They can withstand the rigors of high temperatures and other harsh environments.

Bar-coded and man-readable information is imaged onto the tag using InfoSight’s InfoTag® Laser Marker. Both the color and laser markings have the ability to survive temperatures exceeding 1800°F (982°C) for 2 hours and 1700°F (927°C) for over two weeks.

The INFO-TINT™ tags come in basic colors – blue, green, and yellow. Coating is applied to 0.008” (0.203mm) thick 430 stainless steel that comes standard in coils 3” (76.2mm) wide by 300’ (91.44m) long. The coated tag material comes nicked and notched in several standard lengths. Depending on the end use, tags may be custom designed to have one or more holes or slots for easy attachment to the product.
