Communications : Extended Protocol All of InfoSight's marking system products communicate to the outside world via a serial RS232 comm. link. InfoSight has developed a simple, reliable and effective communications protocol to facilitate links to customer's host computers and other equipment. This data sheet provides a thorough description of the Extended Protocol. Two simulation utility programs (Windows 9x, NT, 2000) for the Extended Protocol are available for download.
